THE new delicacy eaten in Nigerian parties is Samosa.
Samosa is Asian. The delicacy has however been widely accepted by Nigerians and you will see this in parties in major cities in the country. It is a fried or baked dish with a savoury filling which include potatoes, onions, peas and lentils. It is a type of appetizer. Samosais made with wheat flour traditionally fried but, many westerners prefer to bake them because it is more convenient and more healthy.
So, when you are served that “small chop” know that it has Asian roots.
Ingredients forSamosa
– 120g flour
– 200g minced beef or chicken
– 1\2 teaspoon of salt
– Warm water
– Half teaspoon of spice such as thyme and dry parsley.

– Vegetable oil
– 200g minced meat or beef
– 2 medium Irish potatoes
– 2 handful of green peas
– 1 large carrot
– Seasoning cubes[maggi]
– 1 pinch of garlic powder
– Chili pepper
