THE Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, on Friday, appealed to the adherents of the two major religions to embrace peaceful coexistence.
He also advocated for peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians.
The minister, who spoke after Eid-Kabir prayer at the praying ground on Airport road Abuja, further noted that the celebration reminded all the mortals that God wants existence of peace in mankind.
Malam Bello stressed that Prophet Ibrahim as always being called by Muslim faithful and Abraham by Christian signified oneness and unity of the two religions.
He therefore urged all Nigerians irrespective of their religions to always pray for peaceful coexistence, saying meaningful development could only be achieved in a peaceful environment.
Malam Bello also urged them to continue to support the current administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari with prayers in its quest to take the country to the promised land.
