The magistrate, Mrs A.O. Salawu, remanded Ibrahim at the Kirikiri Prison custody, pending the adjourned date slated for Aug. 1.
Earlier, Insp Kehinde Okatunde, the prosecutor, told the court that the defendant had committed the offence between March and July at No. 5, Orisa St., Sari Iganmu, Orile.
He alleged that the defendant had stolen the sum of N177, 000 from her employer, Joshua Ike, the head of the company, where the defendant worked.
According to him, the alleged offence contravenes Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, which prescribes a seven-year jail term for offenders.
Magistrate Salawu, however, fixed Aug. 1 for possible facts and sentencing.
