Sack service chiefs now over Melete massacre —Prophet

The General Overseer of the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministries International (EBOMI), Prophet Isa El-Buba has called for shake-up in the nation’s security architecture.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after he was conferred with an honorary Doctorate degree by the Cornerstone University of Jerusalem and the United States of America in Jos, Plateau State, he said the inability of the military to tame Boko Haram and the recent killings of soldiers in Melete Borno State was capable of denting the image of country and the military in particular.

”The country has lost so many soldiers in the course of fighting Boko Haram in the North-East. The recent killing of our soldiers in Melete does not portray us as a serious nation.

The cost Nigeria so much to train a soldier. The Service Chiefs, therefore should be fired because they lack the capacity to tame Boko Haram,” he alleged.

El-Buba, who said he had no issue with President Muahamadu Buhari, pointed out that he only had problems with his style of governance.

He said that he had travelled across all the country by road, lamenting that Nigerians are passing throughsevere hardship.

El-Buba claimed that he has “a massive followership across the country on the platform of the Initiative for a Better and Brighter Nigeria adding that all the people  look to his leadership.

“I am not contending with the government. All I am saying is, if you are not competent to lead us, give way and we will get in the right people. That is all I am saying. I have so many associations across the country: students, religious people, business people.

“We have developed a blueprint that we can discuss about the new Nigeria. how the economy of Nigeria will be healed, how the infrastructure will be restored, how schools will be restored to what it used to be and how we can salvage the country from of insecurity”, he said.
