A statement, on Friday, by the Information Unit of the university, which bore this announcement, however, did not name the members of the panel, their numbers or the deadline for their assignment.
The statement said the setting up of the fact-finding committee was in line with the university’s zero tolerance for misconduct.
The panel, it said, had commenced work and requested memoranda from staff and students with information that could aid its assignment.
The statement said the memoranda should be addressed to: The Secretary, Fact Finding Panel on the Allegation of Sexual Harassment involving a Lecturer in the University, c/o Registrar’s Office, 5th Floor, Senate Building, University of Lagos.
The submission of the memoranda, which should be in sealed envelopes, would be between Monday, 11 and Friday, 15 June, 2018 and made to the office of the Registrar, it added.
The university guaranteed the confidentiality of responses.
