The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, recently at the Royal African Young Leadership Forum of the Ooni of Ife Global Outreach, tagged Royal Awards and Leadership forum, recognised 100 young Nigerians who, according to him, have done well for themselves and their people.

Among these notable young people, who all received royal recognition for their outstanding achievements as young people, are Seyi Awolowo, Nollywood Actor, Lateef Oladimeji and social media sensation, Woli Arole. They all took to their social media platforms to express their excitement at the honour placed on them by the Royal father.

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate and grandson of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Seyi Awolowo, on his instagram page wrote: “So honoured and glad that being responsible and pursuing a noble cause as promoting culture, heritage, tradition and tourism with proper education, enlightenenment and insight could attract such accolades. Nigerian youths, we cannot relent; keep succeeding in whatever good your hands find to do”.

Woli Arole, who also uploaded several pictures of himself flaunting the Royal Award plaque on his Instagram page, wrote: “This is a huge honour from Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II. Being among the notable young Nigerians that would be awarded still humbles me. I feel so honoured Kabiyesi, and this means a lot to me, long live the king. I feel so honoured being part of the 100 Nigerians being awarded tonight. God bless our amiable king. I dedicate this to everyone with a dream and this is a proof that it is possible to achieve your dreams”.

On the same note, fast rising Nollywood actor, Lateef Oladimeji, also posted pictures of himself holding the Royal Award plaque and wrote: “Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting. Which one of the favors of the lord will I deny? Special gratitude to His Imperial Majesty; the Ooni of Ife, Kabiyesi, I am grateful and I promise to do more. To everyone who has always believed in my brand, I love you all”.

The event was held at the Oduduwa Hall, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
