Rotating Oyo governorship

Published by

CONSTITUTIONALLY,   every citizen is entitled to vote and be voted for. That is the essence of the democratic system of government.

Against this backdrop, no section of a particular state should believe that the governorship or any other political position  is meant for it exclusively. That is a clearly undemocratic mind set.

Let us forget about using population strength to determine the governorship of the state all the time. This is because every section of Oyo State deserves the governorship.

Let all political leaders in Oyo State converge  and have a forum to fashion out the rotation policy of the governorship across the various zones in the state.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi should make history by actualising this before the expiration of his tenure in 2019.
