Rotaract Club honours FCA lecturer for promoting education

The Rotaract Club of Iseyin Pathfinder, a community-based club, has honoured a lecturer at the Federal College of Agriculture (FCA), Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Rotarian Idowu Adewumi, for his contribution to the advancement of education and career development.

Speaking on the recognition, President of the club, Rotarian Busayo Olusoji, described Adewumi as Rotarian per excellence and someone the youths look up to for mentorship.

Olusoji, stated further that: “We recognise Rotarian Adewumi for his support for the youths especially those in the Rotaract Club. The entire members of Rotaract Club of Iseyin Pathfinder appreciate him for sharing his knowledge with us on things we can do as a club that will benefit our immediate community. So, this is an award of appreciation for his efforts and support so far.”

While reacting to the award, Adewumi described it as another recognition which he said will spur him to further put in his best in impacting meaningfully on the lives of the youths in his immediate environment and Nigeria as a whole.
