Rosemary to unveil debut album at ‘Night of Worship’ Concert

Anointed Gospel singer, Rosemary Tony-Ayoko, fondly called Rosemary, is set to make her debut with an album entitled, That I May Know Him.

Produced by Rotimikeys (Rotimi Akinfenwa), the 12-track album features some of Nigeria’s anointed gospel singers namely Mairo Ese, Palmira and Donna Ogunnaike.

Some of the tracks include: You, My Everything, Have Your Way (featuring Mairo Ese), Just A Glimpse, Be My Lord, Dwelling Place, Nara Ekele, Mow a Dupe, I Believe (featuring Palmira and Donna Odunaike), To You as You, This Song, Holy is Your Name.

That I May Know Him album will be officially unveiled at a concert tagged Night Of Worship holding on Sunday April 9 at The Dome, Glory Christian Ministries, Ijeshatedo, Surulere, Lagos. The concert will feature music from other gospel artistes who are friends of Rosemary including Pita, Mairo Ese, Donna Ogunnaike, Dominic Osim, Ice and Palmira.

For the Benson Idahosa University graduate, gospel music isn’t something she stumbled upon. “It all started about 13 years ago in my final year, when God came to me in a dream and told me about the music ministry and how He has singled me out to be used by Him. I didn’t start the moment He told me because I wasn’t ready for it. He had to teach me a few things that will help me stay in line with what He has called me to do.”

It would take Rosemary resigning from her comfortable job at a Law Firm in order to follow her true path. The lessons learnt from her trajectory inspired the general message of her album.

She explains this, “After my resignation all that consumed me was just to have a deeper walk with the person of the Holy Spirit. The desire to know Him more in a more intimate way, hence the title “That I May Know HIM” and I am glad to say that indeed I met Him and I am so loving my relationship with the Holy Spirit.”
