Righteousness will restore Nigeria’s lost glory —Ojo

The Senior Pastor of Grace Family International Church, Alausa, Lagos State, Reverend Yinka Ojo, has called on Nigerians to emulate Jesus Christ by being righteous in order for God to carry out His purpose and will for the nation.

Ojo, who made the remark at the 2017 Men’s Conference of the church held recently, stressed that Nigerians should expect a new beginning in their lives if the nation could do the Lord’s commandments.

He noted that the 2017 Men’s Conference of the church, which had Commanded, as its theme, revealed the Lord’s wish to move in a unique way  to bringing restoration to people who were prepared to do as He had commanded.

The cleric stated that the people should expect a new beginning in their lives as a nation, church and as individuals, stressing that if anyone was down, disappointed and traumatised because of the present happenings in Nigeria and the world, he should be hopeful as God was ready to do new things in people’s lives.

He charged men to be leaders of proven integrity and track record as heads of their families, just as he enjoined them to provide leadership worthy of emulation; ensure high morale among their people and maintain the good image of the their families in particular and the nation in general.

The 2017 edition of the three-day conference had music ministrations, lectures, novelty football match, free health check-up and thanksgiving service as part of the activities for the event.

Revd Ojo enjoined Nigerians to be compassionate, merciful, meek, humble, spiritual, holy, self- denying and forbearing if they wanted the Lord to bring back the nation’s lost glory.

He added that Nigerians tend to be abundantly blessed and get restored to their original place of dominion spiritually, financially, physically, mentally and emotionally if they were devoted and obedient to God and the Lord’s commandments.

“For a better society, Nigerians must begin to think in a new way, they must see themselves as belonging to the Joshua generation by taking responsibilities for themselves and possessing their possession, which the Lord had made available for them”,  Revd. Ojo stressed.
