Vice-Chancellor of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, Professor Sunday Roberts Ogunduyile, on Wednesday, called on the intervention agencies in the state to complete all projects embarked upon by the agencies in the institution.
Ogunduyile, who made this appeal in Okitipupa during a press conference to herald the maiden convocation of the institution, specifically appealed to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Commission (OSOPADEC) to revisit all projects sponsored by them but abandoned in the institution.

He said the call became imperative so as to usher development to the university, noting that the hostel projects embarked upon in 2008 by OSOPADEC had been abandoned, while the NDDCVhostel building began in 2010 had been stopped.
According to him, he had approached both institutions to appeal to them but was told that there no funds yet to complete the projects. Speaking on the convocation, he disclosed that about 573 graduands would be conferred with various degrees during the first convocation coming up on March 21.
