The Founding Pastor and General Overseer of Pilgrim Miracle Church and Abundant Life Prayer and Evangelistic Ministries International (ALPEMI) with headquarters in Ibadan, Nigeria, Rev Ademolaami Afolayan on Saturday launched two spiritual books.
The General Overseer launched the books during the ‘Friends and Partners of Abundant Life Prayer and Evangelistic Ministries International Conference on Saturday, 24th June 2023.
The event which saw people from far and near gather to celebrate the Author, began with a short prayer and welcome address by Pastor Ayo Afolayan, setting the festive tone at the Pilgrim Miracle Church, the venue for the event in Ibadan.
The author explained that the books are not just any kind of literature but spiritual writings that have been purposefully and creatively used to wage prayers of war against the devil and his minions, who are always and incessantly on the prowl in search of someone to devour.
Reviewing the books, he said “The ABC of following Christ, and Holy Spirit manifest yourself in me, entails how to follow the footsteps of Christ and live a Christ-like life in this world. It is not just any book, but a guide for a good relationship with God.”
Pastor Afolayan further stated that his experiences and walk with God over the years helped him in writing the books, and encouraged people to “not just read like any other book, but read it to be edified, sanctified, build and maintain a closer walk with God.”
He added that the book flows in line with the core goals of the ALPEMI and Pilgrim ministry “Preach holiness, declare my praise, destroy idolatry. Set my people in order and with them make the Total Man. These books go with these goals, making the total man.”
On her part, wife of the author, Prof. Adejumoke Afolayan, while congratulating the general overseer on the noteworthy occasion, stressed the importance of having a good relationship with, stating that “a good relationship with the Father guarantees your eternal home.”
She said the author is genuinely driven by the service to God and man, adding that his simplicity and infectious humility, which has become a way of life evident in the years he has served faithfully at different levels of leadership in the vineyard of God.
The author thanked all for coming to felicitate with him and his family on the occasion of the conference/book launch.

Rev Ademolaami Afolayan is also the author of several works, including Rays of Judgment; Spiritual Warfare in End-Time Dimensions; Dynamics of the Resurrection; Resurrection Power at Work in Healing; Deliverance, Signs and Wonders; Angelic Help and Holy Ghost Power for Disciples, and more.
Ademolaami is married to Adejumoke, an intellectual to the core, now a retired Professor of Geography from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They are blessed with four sons and one daughter, with their spouses.
