Restructure Nigeria before 2019 Election ―Presidential Aspirant, Moghalu tells Buhari

The former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Kingsley Moghalu has urged President Mohammadu Buhari to restructured Nigeria along six geopolitical zones to make the states solvent, before 2019 General elections
Addressing a large crowd in a town-hall meeting in Awka yesterday, Moghalu said if the country is restructured along six geopolitical zones each zone will enjoy the economy of scale.
On the contrary, he continued, if Nigeria is restructured along states many states will not survive on their own in the light of the recent revelation of the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo that about 17 states cannot pay salaries.
Moghalu who has toured five states before Anambra in his awareness campaign for his presidential ambition said that Nigeria has stagnated since the second republic because old people have continued to be recycled into office.
He said there is an urgent need for the country to be re-invented in the light of the failure of the present government to offer services for which it was elected.
According to him with the collapse of the economy and mass slaughter of Nigerians, on daily basis, there will be anarchy if President Muhammadu Buhari is re-elected into office next year.
He said if given a chance he will invest in youths by the establishment of a N500 billion fund that will grow into N1trillion for youths to embark on self-employment through which they will employ others.
He will also reform the security network by enlarging the number of police men to between 1.5 million to two million.
Besides, the police will be trained into modern police force by introducing technology that will help them monitor the borders to ensure the security of life and property of Nigerians.
