As part of his continued efforts to electrify the whole Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency of Taraba State, a member of Federal House of Representative, Jafaru Yakubu, has on Monday flagged off the rural electrification/extension of 33KVA line from Sunkani to Garba-Chede Taraba.
The Governor of Taraba, Dr Agbu Kefas, who was represented by the Deputy Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hamma Adama Abdullahi highlighted the importance of electricity in the economic growth of the communities.
He urged the contractors to effectively extend the light to all nooks and crannies of Garba-Chede town for everyone to have access to electricity.
He said the ongoing electrification and the already installed solar street lights have become a true sign of his concerns over issues affecting his concerns. In his remarks, Hon. Jafaru expressed his commitment.
