Reps member donates transformers to communities in Ogbomoso

As part of his commitment on electrification, the Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Navy, Honourable Jacob Ajao Adejumo, has facilitated and installed transformers in his constituency, just as he vowed that his constituency would witness more developments from the Federal Government.

Honourable Adejumo, who represents Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, facilitated three 500KVA, 33000V transformers, situating one in each of the three local government areas: Ogbomoso North – Hamama area, Ogbomoso South – Esaanu Aje area, and Oriire – Iluju village.

Speaking during the installation exercise, Honourable Adejumo, represented by his aide, Prince Abiola  Oyadiran, assured his constituents that more infrastructural projects, youth empowerment programmes, job opportunities, among others, would be facilitated to the communities under his representation.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker has been applauded on the projects and tasked not to relent in bringing more projects to the communities. The Chairman of Aduin Landlords’ Association, Deacon Olusegun Adesanmi, while speaking during the installation exercise at Hamama area, expressed happiness regarding the transformers and expressed confidence that the lawmaker has impacted the communities.

A landlord, Mr Toyin Ajamu, who is the private secretary to the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, has also lauded the lawmaker for the provision.

He explained that the community (Aduin) has been in darkness for a long period of time as all efforts made by people of the community was in futility. He, therefore, thanked the lawmaker, on behalf of the residents of Aduin community, for coming to their aid at the time and charged him to continue on his path of choice.
