Reps converge on NASS lobby, as Speaker Dogara makes triumph entry

THERE is a mounting tension at the lobby of the National Assembly now as members of the House of Representatives across the Political Parties converged ‎on the lobby of the two chambers shouting solidarity song in support of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

It was gathered that the gathering was not unconnected with spreading news from the Senate chamber and indeed the Plenary was being presided by its President, Senator Bunkola Saraki who had earlier been declared missing.

The situation became minimal for the members of the PDP when another confirmed news filtered in that 15 senators from the ruling APC have just defected to the PDP.

As if that was not enough, the lawmakers went into another round of wild jubilation with the arrival of the Speaker, Hon Yakubu Dogara, to the lobby as the members were chanting solidarity slogan,” Dogara!, Dogara!!, Dogara!!!

Meanwhile, the lawmakers are making their ways into the Hallow Chamber of the House of Representatives to commence the plenary.
