Rep urges prayers for peace, unity of Nigeria

THE House of Representatives member for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Honourable Olajide Olatunbosun, has urged Muslims to intensify prayers during this holy month of Ramadan for uninterrupted peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.

Olatunbosun made the request in a message as the special guest of honour at a Ramadan event in Ibadan, where he described Ramadan as a period of multiple blessings from Allah and spiritual rejuvenation for the faithful.

He emphasised the need for Nigerians to use the opportunity of the holy month to beseech Allah to grant all Nigerians harmonious coexistence and enjoyment of dividends of good governance.

The lawmaker implored the faithful to always include President Muhammadu Buhari, the incoming leadership of the ninth National Assembly and other public officeholders in their prayers for Allah to grant them wisdom to make the right decisions in the interest of the masses.

Hon. Olatunbosun listed his first-term achievements to include facilitation of many road projects, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) FM station in Saki, rehabilitation of schools and empowerment programmes for youths, women and the aged in his constituency.

He promised to deliver more dividends of good representation in the next four years of his renewed mandate
