Rep Salam commends Gov Adeleke for PWDs’ free health insurance

Osun Federal  Lawmaker. Rep Salam Commends Gov. Adeleke Over  Free Health Insurance For Persons Living With Disabilities, Excellent Rating In NIPR Governance Report
The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts, PAC,, Rep. Bamidele Salam, ( Osun -PDP) has commended the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on approving the free enrollment of all persons living with disabilities in the state’s health insurance scheme.
The lawmaker representing the Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun State made the commendation in a letter personally signed to  the governor and made available to Newsmen in Abuja at the weekend.
The Lawmaker landed Governor Adeleke for approving the procurement of aiding equipment needed for the respective persons living with disabilities to make life more comfortable for them.
According to him, “I am thrilled to commend Governor Ademola Adeleke for his exemplary leadership in approving the free enrollment of all persons living with disabilities in Osun State’s health insurance scheme.
” This initiative is a testament to his commitment to inclusivity and ensuring equal access to quality healthcare for all citizens, regardless of their abilities.
“As a representative of the people, I am delighted to see our governor translating his campaign promises into tangible actions that positively impact the lives of our people.
“The procurement of aiding equipment for persons living with disabilities further demonstrates his dedication to improving their overall well-being.
” I encourage all eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of this opportunity and register for the free health insurance scheme.
” I also reassure my continued support for initiatives that promote the welfare and empowerment of our vulnerable populations.

In addition to his commitment to inclusivity, Governor Adeleke’s exceptional leadership has also been recognised in the recent NIPR Governance Report 2024.
Rep. Salam extended his warmest congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke on his outstanding performance in the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Governance Report 2024.
Governor Adeleke’s exceptional leadership and performance in state governance earned him an impressive 83.6% rating, placing him among the top 9 Nigerian Governors in the NIPR’s Reputation Performance Index on Nigerian Political Governance 2024.
Salam praised Governor Adeleke’s visionary leadership and tremendous strides in transforming Osun State since assuming office.

He urged Governor Adeleke to sustain his efforts in delivering excellent governance and pledged his support for the Governor’s initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, and youth development in Osun State.
