The Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency of Kogi State in the House of Representatives,
Honourable Leke Abejide, on Saturday, doled out N75m for secondary school students sitting for this year’s West African Examination Council (WAEC).
Speaking at the occasion at Isanlu, in Yagba East Local Government of Kogi State, Honorable Abejide declared that the gesture covered both Public and Private Secondary schools across the three local governments in the constituency.

Honourable Abejide also announced that from this academic’s session, the gesture would be extended to all JSS 3 students in all the local government and Technical schools.
According to him, “in no distance future, we should begin to see Medical Doctors, engineers, administrators and even governors among these our children, your dream of reaching out to the sky should begin from today.”
He urged parents in the federal constituency to key into the project by allowing their children to register as there was no condition attached irrespective of their political affiliation.
Hon Bejide told the gathering, attended by traditional rulers, political leaders and religious leaders, that they should continue to allow peace reign in the country as no meaningful development can take place in a chaotic situation.
