Remain good ambassadors of party, Ambode charges APC Professionals Council

Published by

Former Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode, has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council, a group within the ruling party, to remain exemplary ambassadors of the party and of Nigeria in general.

The former governor made this call when he received a delegation from the APC Professionals Council, led by its Director General, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, during their courtesy visit in Lagos to felicitate with him on the occasion of the New Year celebration.

Ambode, while receiving the delegation, commended the professionals in his party, led by the council’s Director General, Hon. Bamigbade, for deeming it necessary to extend their New Year felicitations to him.

Earlier, Bamigbade, on behalf of the delegation, praised former Governor Ambode for his contributions to elevating the status of Lagos as a modern mega city.

The Council’s Director General emphasized that Ambode’s numerous contributions to the development of Lagos cannot be overstated, noting that the economic prosperity of the state was well galvanized during his tenure as the state governor.

Bamigbade, in extending New Year wishes to the former governor and his entire household, expressed hope that “the country will benefit more from Ambode’s wealth of experience in governance.”
