Reformation Movement of Nigeria inaugurates Board Of Trustees Members

OCTOBER 9, 2018 is a remarkable day for Reformation Movement Of Nigeria as members stormed the capital city of Nigeria (Abuja) to elect and inaugurates Board of Trustees Members that will be making a sustainable decision for the movement.

The National President of the movement, Comrade Shomuji Olujimi in his welcome speech said “I am honoured to stand here,in the midst of our great leaders who preferred to be identified with young Nigerian that are ready for nation building and good governance.

Truly speaking, these are the men I call Pillars of Social Justice with undiluted reputation men and women of valour, progressive ànd dogged fighter to right the Nigeria wrongs. I sincerely appreciate God almighty who has been sustaining the vision of Reformation Movement of Nigeria since her birth a long time ago.”

He stated that the movement started in the year 2004 at Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State and it has crystalised into a civil society organisation with full involvement in good governance, intellectual advocacy, empowerment, networking and education.

He further stated that, Reformation Movement is in eleven States of Nigeria with seven campus units across tertiary institutions of learning and also has two chapters information abroad, Germany and United States.

“To consolidate on the RMN goals, we intend to approach and partner INEC as one of the National observer for the forthcoming 2019 general election. He added that, the movement will have their General Assembly in November 2018 and the theme will be “Good governance: The Past, the Present and the Future in view”.

Architect Oluwasola Adesoye, the newly elected Chairman, Board of Trustees in his acceptance speech, urged members to pay particular attention to the ideas they have crafted as their mission, vision and value statements, for this is what they will be held accountable for. He added that the movement is clearly an idea whose time has come especially at a period when our country continues to navigate through the waters of uncertainty and a misty and foggy political, economic and social atmosphere.
