President Muhammadu Buhari will not fail Nigerians who have just again reposed tremendous confidence in him and the All Progressives Congress ( APC ), by re-electing him, according to the North West Zonal Women and Youths Leaders, Hajiya Yuhanazu Buba Ahmad and Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Fakai, respectively .
The two leaders spoke in Sokoto on Sunday, at a high-level meeting with Women, Youths and Trade Groups, as well as APC Youths Leaders from across Sokoto State, as a part of their Thank You visit to the seven North Western States of Nigeria.
According to the North West Zonal Youths Leader, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Fakai, ” The zone has given massive votes to President Buhari and the party’s National Assembly members-elect, hence, enabling the President to consolidate on his myriad of achievements in the last four years.
” President Buhari has done a lot in terms of logical implementation and execution of plausible programmes, policies and projects. Women, youths and other vulnerable groups have been part of the major beneficiaries, in this direction.
” All these would be sustained and improved upon, with the women, youths and other vulnerable groups being given a top priority .”
Fakai further explained that the visit was to appreciate the invaluable efforts of the members of the party in the zone for their excellent show during the recent Presidential and National Assembly polls.
The APC Zonal Chairman averred that majority of the votes cast for the candidates of the party, including President Muhammadu Buhari, came from the women and youths.
He, therefore, urged them to sustain the happy tempo during the forthcoming Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections on March 9, 2019.
Doing so, Fakai noted, that they also need to elect Governors and Assemblymen who would formidably complement the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari and consolidate on the current enviable feat.

Also speaking, the Zonal Woman Leader, Hajiya Yuhanazu Buba Ahmad, lauded women in the zone for trooping to the polling units during the recent Presidential and National Assembly polls.
She admonished them not to relent in their efforts in their determined bid to elect Governors and State Assemblymen under the platform of the APC, hence, to sustain the subsisting high level of execution and implementation of people-oriented programmes, policies and projects by the Federal Government, across Nigeria.
The duo also extolled the unparalleled and enviable leadership qualities of the APC Leader in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, whom they described as an indisputable, strong pillar of the party in Nigeria.
The State APC Youths Leader, Alhaji Nasiru Italy and the State Woman Leader, Hajiya Rabi Tudun Wada, said women and youths have played key roles during the Presidential and National Assembly polls, pledging, ” we would replicate this feat on March 9, 2019.
” Women and Youths will massively come out and vote APC Gubernatorial and State Assembly Candidates, in the bid to urgently redress the current obnoxious state of underdevelopment in the state. ”
A cross section of the speakers at the meeting said Nigerians have renewed confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s unwavering resolve to take Nigeria to the NEXT LEVEL, with the strong support of able Lieutenants like Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
They, however, called for more attention to be given to women and youths in the state in terms of the execution of programmes and policies, in addition to giving top priority to the zone and Sokoto State, in particular, in terms of execution of developmental projects like roads and railway lines, among others.
All the speakers promised to assiduously work to ensure the emergence of an APC-led Sokoto State Government, even as they hugely decried the current state of inertia in the state.
The delegation later paid solidarity and congratulatory visit the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum and Coordinator, North West Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, where they renewed their confidence in his unparalleled leadership traits.
Wamakko lauded them for the gesture and urged the supporters of the party, nationwide, not to be complacent and troop to the polling units on March 9, 2019, to massively and peacefully cast their votes for APC Gubernatorial and House of Assembly Candidates.
