It is no longer news that the economy has seriously nosedived and has caused a lot of big spenders to cut down on their usual spending spree on luxury items. However, this hasn’t stopped some top Nigerian A-listers from coveting the world most expensive $500,000 (N16 million) crocodile skinned hand crafted handbag called Hermes Birkins.

The breathtakingly expensive Hermes Birkins bags are sought after by the mega rich and top celebrities around the world. This is as a result of the believe that if you are a celebrity or socialite and you don’t have this luxury bag, then you have not cemented your status as one of the movers and shakers in  the  society.

No doubt, Birkins Hermes is the most iconic bag of all times. In Nigeria, Hermès Birkin bag is carried like a trophy by celebrities like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Ene Lawani, Tiwa Savage, Jennifer Obayunwana, Abisola-Kola Daisi,  Nini Nwofor, Chika Ike, Linda Ikeji and a host of others.

Shockingly, while you may wonder why a handbag costs this crazy amount, surprisingly, some celebrities like Abisola Kola Daisi, Daniella Okeke, Geneivieve Nnaji, Chika Ike and billionair wife, Nini Nwofor have not just one but multiple of these jaw-dropping handbags and are not shy to flaunt them on social media.
