The fair-skinned rapper, who is famous for his smooth rapping skills, was said to have been under pressure to announce his decision on his next move following rumours that he might not be flying the Origin brand for another three years.
In a statement released by the rapper on some days back, Baba Hafusa, as he’s fondly called, stated that he had decided to embark on other equally exciting and challenging engagements.
The statement read: “As the saying goes, every journey, no matter how long, always comes to an end. After three years of meritoriously and efficiently flying the Origin alcoholic beverage brand on behalf of Guiness Nigeria, Plc as sole ambassador, I have decided to embark on other equally exciting and challenging engagements.
‘’It has been an awesome time working with amazing and professional brand team members, who ensured that we communicated the message of Origin as interesting and exciting as we did. I must also mention members of my team that worked with me closely in ensuring we delivered on the promises we made to the company and fans.”
R, however, gathered that the rapper decided to call it quits with Origin because he was already weighing up bigger deals that he could not honour because of his commitment to the Origin brand.
