We have seen our brilliant lawyers defending crooks in the court of law, using their intelligence and smartness in the wrong ways.
This does not suggest that poverty or poor quality education is the cause of our problems. It is not arguable that quality education can promote development, self-reliance and ideal conduct.
But something is wrong with our society where professors cannot be said to be incorruptible, thereby raising doubts about whether education is the determinant of change.
In our society, we acquire wealth through dubious means due to our faulty values. I think only a society that is built on the fear of God, rule of law, modesty, selflessness, high moral values and discipline can have the right education.
