Over 200 people in Badariya a suburb of Birnin-Kebbi metropolis have benefited from the medical outreach carried out by the provincial headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Birnin-Kebbi Province to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Speaking to Tribune Online, the wife of the Pastor in Charge of the Province (PICP), Pastor Mrs Jumoke Abbe stated that the Church decided that the medical outreach should coincide with this year’s ‘Let’s go a fishing’ programmes carried out by the Church for Evangelism.
Mrs Abbe said further that the programme is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to humanity, noting that health is wealth and if there is no sound health there is no way one can be relevant in society.
“This medical outreach is to demonstrate that you love them and care for them, and to show them that they are relevant in the society, and a platform for them to come together and be treated to know the important of God and worship him”.
“You should try to be a blessing to humanity in your own little way, any environment or society you find yourself try and demonstrate to them the love that Jesus Christ have for them, it doesn’t matter whether you are a Christian or Muslim, all that matter is the love of Christ for them”.
“This is what Christ Jesus has come to do, to show love and we have to do it more better as a believer, and doing this the world will be a better place for all of us to live in,” she said.
