Ramadan: Sen Natasha felicitates Muslims, preaches love, peace

A lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has felicitated the Muslim faithful as the 2024 Ramadan begins.

In a press statement issued on Monday by Arogbonlo Israel Chief Press Secretary to Sen. Akpoti-Uduaghan, the lawmaker noted that Ramadan is a sacred month to reflect and learn the act of fairness, sacrifice, tolerance, patience, and forgiveness as embodied by the holy prophet Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

According to her, these virtues are what society needs to function, live harmoniously, and always be conscious of the actions that can affect others and the general society.

She called on the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity of Ramadan fasting to learn the virtues of the prophet and apply them in all their dealings while contributing to the growth of the country.
