Ramadan: Prayers for good leadership, nation, Gov Bago charges Muslims

In a heartfelt message marking the commencement of Ramadan, Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State has called on Nigerlites to engage in sustained prayers for the President, the nation, and the state government.

He emphasized the importance of seeking divine guidance to ensure the security of lives and property while steering the country toward prosperity.

In his Ramadan message, communicated through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago highlighted the month of Ramadan as a unique period of spiritual reflection that brings blessings, favoUrs, and forgiveness to those who participate earnestly.

He urged the Muslim community in Niger State to utilize this time for spiritual rejuvenation and growth, advocating for a positive impact on all aspects of their lives that transcends the holy month.

The governor also encouraged residents to embrace acts of kindness and generosity during this sacred period, emphasizing that such actions would earn them eternal rewards.

To support the less privileged, he announced the allocation of food items for the Ramadan period, aimed at facilitating their participation in the fast.

Governor Umaru Bago called on those responsible for distributing these items to act with fairness, integrity, and a genuine spirit of service to achieve the intended goals.
