Rabi Elabor wins best presentation award at ECP for innovative research

In a groundbreaking achievement, Rabi Elabor’s innovative research earned the coveted Best Presentation Award at the 2nd International Electronic Conference on Processes (ECP 2023), hosted by the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI).

This prestigious honour recognises Rabi’s outstanding contribution to the field of processes, showcasing her expertise and dedication to advancing material and environmental science.

The ECP 2023 conference, held from May 17 to 31, 2023, on a web platform, brought together a global community of scientists, researchers, and authors to share cutting-edge advancements in processes through various presentations and publications.

Amidst 131 submissions, Rabi’s and her co-authors’ research stood out for its innovative approach and significant impact, underscoring its relevance on a global scale.

Titled “Photocatalytic Degradation and Defluorination of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Using Biosynthesized TiO2 Nanoparticles under UV-Visible Light,” Rabi’s study, published in MDPI’s Engineering Proceedings in 2023, demonstrates the potential of biosynthesized TiO2 as a photocatalytic material for removing PFAS and other contaminants from water.

This research addresses critical environmental and health challenges, solidifying Rabi’s position as a leading expert in her field.

The Best Presentation Award at ECP 2023 acknowledges Rabi’s exceptional research further reinforcing her reputation as a pioneer in material and environmental science.

Her work’s global impact and recognition by an internationally renowned conference underscore her dedication to developing innovative solutions for environmental issues.
