The Chief Executive Officer, CMC Connect, Mr Yomi Badejo-Okusanyo, has said that Nigeria is at crossroads, hence the need to provide qualitative education to students in a bid to liberate the country.

This was stated at an interactive session organised by the Department of Mass Communication, Mountain Top University in collaboration with the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria.

Mr Badejo-Okusanyo, who was the guest speaker at the event, said that it was imperative to provide good education for students because they were the future leaders of the country and would consequently proffer solutions to the inherent problems of the country.

In his presentation entitled: “I Press, I Press and I Press,” he charged the students to press towards the goals they hadin mind, adding that they could not apprehend what they could not see.

Also speaking, vice chancellor, Mountain Top University, Professor Elijah Afolabi, said the rationale behind the interactive session was to create a platform for the town and gown relationshipamongthe professionals and the students in order to share ideas and enabled the students to aspire to be like them in the areas of relevance in life and contribute to the society.

He, therefore, admonished the students to use the opportunity to learn from those who were already in the profession, to see a better tomorrow for themselves, the  gap they could fill in the society and be able tocontribute effectively to the society.
