QRTV set to change narratives of rape in Nigeria with movie

Published by

A budding media outfit, QRTV, is set to change the narrative of rape in the Nigerian society through its movie entitled, Don’t Beg Now.

Speaking at a briefing held in Lagos State on Thursday, producer of the movie, Rola Olawore, said  the movie features three young and up-and-coming actors: Kuchi Chris, Anthony Umeh and Sandra Iwajomo.

He said that the movie is centred on campaigning against rape, with the motive of not monetising it in order to make it available for all and sundry in the society.

“Mind you, we’re not trying to monetise the release of the movie or make profit from it, as the movie is free on VIMEO to watch and as well download.

“You know, rape is a nationwide issue? Therefore, QRTV seeks to change the narrative of rape in our Nigerian society through the movie release” Olawore said.
