Not only do we come across these short codes almost on daily basis, many of us use them online without really knowing their full meaning. It could be on a website, social media platforms, inbox message or e-mail. People use and say these codes but do not actually know what they mean. The following are common online codes you use:

  3. SMS – Short Message Service.

  10. GIF – Graphics Interchange Format.
