The Pace Setter State was formerly known for a lot of misdeeds such as kidnapping, robbery, rape and all other evil acts. However, since Senator Ajimobi assumed office, he has ensured that peace and security become the order of the day which has led to various developments in the state.
A notable change was the change in registration of the cabs. Now cabs are registered with same colors and also each cab in Oyo state today has their local government area from which the cab was registered. This makes it safe for the citizens of the state to move to and fro their various business locations. I believe this has been instrumental in reducing the rate of kidnapping in Oyo state so far.

Another step taken by the government in combating violent acts is the re-launching of Operation Burst by the governor. The joint patrol has reduced crime rate except for the recent crisis at Oke-Ado area. The crisis is now constant and government must act urgently to nip the violent activities of these unscrupulous elements in the bud. Nothing must be spared to tame the criminals fomenting trouble so that they will not destroy the peace in the state. We must not return to the era of violence in the state.
In all, we must give kudos to Senator Ajimobi for ensuring that peace, security and order have been restored in the state and also for bringing back the prestige of the state as the Pace Setter despite the increasing rate of national insecurity.
