Dr Bello, who gave this advice during the induction at the PTDF auditorium in Abuja, said the beneficiaries should endeavour to acquire skills and experience that would contribute to the growth and development of the nation when they eventually return after upholding majorly the integrity of the nation wherever they find themselves.
According to him, “you are all going overseas for a purpose, but the most important of all is that you must be good ambassadors of this country, don’t forget that you are not just representing yourself or PTDF but remember you are representing Nigeria, I urge you to compose yourself, acquire skills and experience to further benefit our nation.

He, therefore, affirmed that the scholarship which was awarded to the beneficiaries of different academic status across the country was based on merit and equity having passed through rigorous tests based majorly on their excellent academic performance
Some of the recipients who spoke with newsmen, however, thanked the PTDF for the initiative, adding that the scholarship would help them achieve their goals and contribute their own quota to the national development.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Onu Ngozi Chukwuka said the scholarship meant well to her and this would help to build her own capacity and increase her skills.
