As a measure to alleviate the impact of the current economic hardship in the country, ProU Education Nigeria has announced a 30 per cent reduction in its tuition fees for all categories of students. The educational institution made this announcement while launching ProU Online College Nigeria.
The Chief Executive Officer of the school, Dr Piyush Jain, stated in a statement on Friday that ProU Online College is established to provide high-quality job-ready training for students in both diploma and certificate programs.
He emphasized that the Online College, previously launched in the United Arab Emirates, is now bringing the latest technological expertise from Europe and proven curriculum pedagogy to Nigeria, connecting learners with global opportunities.
Jain elaborated that the College offers flexible, affordable, and relevant courses, guided by a team of high-profile academics and experts, providing students with real-world work experiences across various fields.
Some of the courses being offered by the college include Python Programming, Web Development, Data Science, Cyber Security, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Genetic Engineering, Sales and Management, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management, among others.
He emphasized that these courses are tailor-made to equip students with knowledge and skills relevant to the 21st-century economy. Students will have access to the “ProU App” and will have the opportunity to interact with their tutors.
Additionally, learners will be able to access course materials digitally in text, video, and audio formats, as well as engage in group discussions and personal conversations with their tutors and career counsellors.
Dr Jain highlighted that the 30 per cent scholarship offer on tuition will provide many Nigerian youths with the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and skills acquisition package being offered by the college.
