As embattled Nigerian singer, Naira Marley awaits the May 30 for the hearing of his case with the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over his alleged involvement in cyber crime, his friend, Zlatan has urged his fans to remain calm

Zlatan, who regained his freedom days after he was picked up by the anti-graft agency warned Marley’s fans who have been protesting at the Lagos office of EFCC to desist from actions that could further damage the reputation of the singer, saying protests won’t set Marley free.

In a video that was shared by the rapper on Friday, the dark-skinned singer said he was confident that Marley would be set free by the court because he had pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him by the anti-graft agency.

He urged the protesters to refrain from taking laws into their hands as it could further make things bad for Marley, adding that “Only God is holy and I am certain that Marley would come out of this a better and stronger man.”

“I believe Marley is bow a bigger artiste. He has won over many hearts to his side because people love him. I know he will be set free and return to us in peace because I want us to make more good songs together. I have missed him. I can’t wait for him to be set free,” he said.
