Protest: Young entrepreneurs urged to embrace diplomacy

Comrade Chris Kohol, Chairman of Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (YEN), has appealed to the organisers of the nationwide protest against hardship to embrace dialogue and diplomacy. With just hours to go before the protest, Kohol urged the youths to reconsider and shelve the protest for national interest.

Kohol acknowledged the frustrations and concerns that led to the call for action but emphasized that protests cannot offer solutions to social and economic problems. He cited past experiences where protests led to chaos, economic sabotage, and destruction of lives and properties.

Instead, Kohol suggested giving President Bola Tinubu more time to tackle the economic challenges confronting the nation. He believes that the President’s economic reforms will yield long-term benefits and urged the youths to support the administration and provide constructive feedback.

Kohol also encouraged young entrepreneurs to channel their energies into building innovative solutions, creating jobs, and driving growth. He reminded the political class, civil rights groups, and civil society organizations to prioritize national unity and peace.

The Young Entrepreneurs of Nigeria has the backing of their Grand Patron, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and urges protesters to prioritize national unity and peace.
