Protest: APC accuses opposition parties of targeting leaders in Zamfara

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara has expressed concerns over the nationwide protest, citing incidents of violence and property damage by opposition parties in the State.

In a statement, APC Publicity Secretary Yusuf Idris stated that the party was disturbed by the events that unfolded during the protest.

He emphasised the importance of peaceful protests and called on security agencies to protect lives and property.

The APC urged protesters to exercise their right to peaceful assembly without resorting to violence or targeting individuals or properties.

The party commended security agencies for their efforts in maintaining order and ensuring public safety.
