Prophet Timothy Oluseyi Oyeniyi, of The African Apostolic Church (Modebe), Ibadan, has been honoured as the Human Rights Ambassador of the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria.
The honour, according to the National President of the Commission, Comrade Adeshina Adewale Excel, the conferment as Ambassador on Oyeniyi, is in recognition of his total commitment to promoting the truth at all times and supporting the course of human rights.
Adeshina further noted that Prophet Oyeniyi was recognised for being a father to the masses and a God-fearing prophet. “He is a lover of justice and always strives for Nigeria to move forward. We need people like him to dominate our society,” Adeshina concluded. ”
While reacting to the recognition, during a ceremony held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Prophet Oyeniyi said, “I see this recognition from the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria as a call to engage in more selfless service to humanity and God almighty, our creator.
“I appreciate the Commission for the special recognition, and I promise to continue to uphold the qualities seen in me that made them consider me for this kind of honour.”
