Prophet blames current hardship on lack of love among Nigerians

Published by

THE founder, Christ for All Peoples Church, Ojo, Lagos, Prophet Samuel Oyadara, said Nigeria is facing current hardship in the land because of absence of love as God had enjoined that, “we all love our neighbours as we love ourselves.”

Oyadara said this while speaking with the Tribune Online in Lagos, noting that even though 90 per cent of Nigerians were Christians and Muslims, love of one’s neighbour was still lacking.

According to him, this is so because what most people do is to be mere worshippers without obeying and practising what God had commanded.

Oyadara said Nigeria’s problem was further compounded because most leaders only worked to enrich their private pockets to the detriments of over 100 million citizens of the country, declaring that what they engaged in was mere hypocrisy that had turned God-giving blessings to the country in terms of natural resources to a curse.

“Over 100 million Nigerians are living without knowing where to feed from. If we love our neighbours, where are the churches and the mosques? The churches and mosques should come to the rescue.

“Christ worked for the generations not known to him. Our leaders have engaged in hypocrisy. It is hypocrisy, they have turned Nigeria’s God-giving blessings of our abundant natural resources to a curse,” he lamented.

“They (leaders) should change their ways,” he demanded.
