Professor Adeosun buries mum June 8

The president of a notable charity organisation, Relume Charitable Foundation, in Nigeria and the USA, Professor Sheri Adeosun, along with her siblings, will host dignitaries from all walks of life for a celebration of the life and times of their late mom.

The USA-based health expert and philanthropist, who announced the passing of her mother, the late Madam Bukonla Balogun, aged 92 lately, noted that plans are in top gear to be remembered and celebrated in Lagos on June 8.

Madam Balogun, who is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, died and was buried according to Muslim rites on March 6.

“A limb had fallen from the family tree; my mind is at ease, and my soul is at rest.

She lived a good life and left an indelible legacy. I will miss her greatly,” she added.
