Revered Nigerian gospel artist, Prince Emmanuel Junior, better known as Prinx Emmanuel, has won the Gospel Artist of the Year category at the 6th edition of the Galaxy Music Awards. The awards were held on March 8, 2025, at the EUI Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
He secured the win after beating fellow gospel artists like Mercy Chinwo, Moses Bliss, M & Revelation, Tim Godfrey, TY Bello, Dunsin Oyekan, and Sunmisola Agbebi. This marks Prinx Emmanuel’s second win after multiple nominations.
In a conversation with journalists at the event, Prinx Emmanuel expressed his humility about the win, saying, “It’s humbling yet deeply affirming. I’m just grateful to God and to everyone who’s been on this journey with me, my team, The Elixir, my manager Jefferson Ibim, and many others. It’s more than just an award; it’s a sign that purpose is being fulfilled. Now that’s the real win.”
Beyond the Galaxy Music Awards, Prinx Emmanuel has been nominated and won local and international awards like the Clima Award, Kingdom Achievers Award, Global Merit Award, and others.
On March 7, 2025, Prinx Emmanuel released an album titled “According to Brother Nwachukwu.” It is filled with twelve amazing tracks designed to bless hearts and uplift spirits. He also plans to do more live recordings, visuals, and work on the next edition of Reverb before the end of the year.
With almost a decade of experience in the music industry, Prinx Emmanuel has already carved a niche for himself. His two appearances at The Experience concert remain unforgettable for the audience. The singer-songwriter and producer creates music that lifts spirits and carries messages. He has hit songs like “God No Go Shame Us,” “Ifunanya,” “Elroi,” and many more. He blends Afro vibes and energy with gospel music, aiming to spread light, joy, and vibes that touch the soul.
