A presidential delegation, led by Alhaji Ibrahim Bapetel, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Development and Strategy, on Tuesday, visited Adamawa State to console with the government and victims of Madagali twin bomb blast.
The delegation presented drugs, consumables and money to the victims receiving treatment at Michika General Hospital.
Bapetel told the victims that President Muhammadu Buhari was concerned with their plight and wished to assure them that his administration was committed to containing the insurgency.
“The president received with deep shock, the news of the unfortunate incident and immediately directed me to come and commiserate with you, identify with plight and assess your health condition,” he said.
Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, Dr Tanko Bathuel, Principal Medical Officer, Michika General Hospital, thanked the delegation and promised judicious use of the drugs and the other items.

He said the remaining were responding to treatment while eight had undergone major surgery.
