President Buhari commissions N2bn tunnel amidst tight security

President Muhammad Buhari has commissioned the Flood Control Tunnel executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma administration in Imo State.

The N2 billion tunnel passed through Dick Tiger Street to Otammiri  River in Imo State.

The president who cut the tape signifying official commissioning arrived at the place about 9.20 am amidst tight security.

The unprecedented barrage of security outfits made up of the army, Police, NSCDC, DSS, among others were armed to the teeth.

The President, accompanied by Governor Uzodimma, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, Deputy Chief Whip Orji Uzo Kalu, among others is dressed in trouser and Igbo traditional tiger head material, and immediately after commissioning which lasted few seconds, left the place to another point of commissioning.

He was, however, received by a crowd of party faithful.
