Presidency will respond to non-clearance of Magu as EFCC boss — Adesina

FOLLOWING the rejection of acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, by the senate on Wednesday, Senior Special Adviser to the president, Femi Adesina, has stated that the Presidency will respond to the non-clearance of Magu as EFCC boss, after it receives official communication in writing from the Senate.

Adesina made this remark on his Twitter handle on Thursday.

It will be recalled that Magu’s renomination by the President Muhammadu Buhari, was rejected by the Senate on Wednesday, following Magu’s failure of what they called integrity test.
