Prepare your PVCs to vote anti-labour politicians out of govt TUC Boss

THE National president Trade Union Congress(TUC) Comrade Boboi Kaigama call on the Nigerian workers to get their Permanent Voters Cards PVCs ready to vote out politicians who are not friendly with Labour policies come 2019 general election.

Kaigama who spoke to the journalist at his resident in Jalingo Taraba State capital yesterday said the organised Labour is not going back on the demand for 30,000 minimum wage no matter what type intimidation from the federal and state governments.

He said the majority of the forces against the implementation of the 30,000 minimum wage was the governors who are hell-bent to frustrate the implementation of the new minimum wage particularly the chairman of the governors’ forum and the governor of Zamfara State.

The TUC boss queried the huge number of permanent secretaries and and over 5000 youths on the pay roll of Zamfara State government in the name of Civilian Joint Task Force which had over broadened the state salary wage bill has forced the governor to become against the new minimum wage.

“We have governors who have taken more that than they can pay, we have others who squandered their states resources to fund campaigns in the last 2015 general elections and they are owing log of salary alias,  they are not ready to pay workers the desired wages, we are now prepared to vote such politicians out of offices come 2019 general election.

“The time which governors use the internally generated revenue to settle their boys is over, every leader should get ready to leave up to the responsibility which the is the accurate pay on the desired wages of workers.

“We have gone beyond going back on minimum wage, we have submitted our decisions to the president, he has in turn submitted it to the economic council and by now we are expecting the government to present it to the National assembly.

“whoever that is against this is considered to be anti Labour leader and such politicians should be voted out by the workers when the time comes.”
