The following are essential tips to check if you’re having a virtual interview for the first time:

The frame captured in the video must be appealing to see. Hence, the a need for a good background. You don’t have to go overboard. Work with what you can afford while looking to achieve an appealing-to-see background.

In a virtual interview, how you look is equally important as how well you perform. Avoid looking unkempt and put it to look presentable. Endeavour to dress the part.

 

Having good lighting will help with a suitable appearance. Also, it’s important to be calm and honest as this can positively or negatively affect your facial expressions.

For someone who will be interviewed virtually, you must be distant from unpleasant noise as it could distract you and the interviewer.
