Pray for Nigeria, Olukoya urges members

GENERAL Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide, Pastor Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, on Friday has urged members to pray fervently for Nigeria.

He made the call when he dedicated a 5,000 capacity ultra-modern auditorium at its Glory Church in Kubwa Region 5, Headquarter in Abuja.

Olukoya in his sermon also urged members to remain prayerful and understand the power of prayer, adding that “there are accurate prayers for every battle in life.”

Former FCT Minister of State, Senator John Akpan Udo-Edehe, a member of MFM Utako region, expressed his delight saying, “I lack words to describe what I have seen today. I’m showing solidarity, I worship with MFM and gave my life to Christ in year 2000.

“Because my General Overseer is here I have to show respect, it is a very rare opportunity to have a metre clear of the GO’s view, we see him on TV, but hardly do we go to Lagos to see him.

“Since he came around we have been following him around to tap from his blessing and anointing.

“I was born into a Christian church but something often leads one into something; something happened and I had to give my life to Christ formally as a grown up person.”

The church building committee chairman, Pastor Kolawole Abodurin, said faith was the secret behind the completion of the church building.

“Before the vision of the church project we did not have 50,000 naira in our account, we started with some materials on ground and God used men to build the church,” he said.

The dedication of the church  constructed between November, 2016 and May, 2017, witnessed a massive crowd of church members and senior pastors from within and outside the country.
