Pastor Osho gave this charge at Iworoko-Ekiti while delivering a sermon at the 2018 edition of the Motif Funland Annual Praise Concert (An Evening of Praise), held at the Motif Funland Multi-Purpose Hall in the amusement park.

The cleric said Christians must always praise and thank God and added that “you should glorify God in your gratitude because the quickest access to God is through the key of gratitude.”

According to him, “when you plug in to praise and thanksgiving, it is sure that the Lord will bestow you with His blessings,” saying “it is so good to pray but it is still better to praise God always for all that He is and all that He has done.”

He called on Christians to live their lives to glorify God, saying “when you glorify God in your gratitude, He will open His heavenly treasures and bless you with all that you need, irrespective of the present condition of things.”

Speaking on why the annual praise concert was instituted, the Cheif Executive Officer of Motif Funland Amusement Park, Iworoko Ekiti, Pastor (Mrs) Funmilola Aina, explained that God had instructed that in all situations we should praise him, saying “the more you thank the Lord, the more His blessings of the Lord will flow to you..

Pastor (Mrs) Aina said bringing people from all walks of life and from different churches, as well as choirs and instrumentalists to Motif Funland to strictly praise God was a way of reiterating the fact that we should always thank God.

“We should thank God everywhere; in church, at home, at work, outside, everywhere. Just praise the Lord. And we have come to Motif Funland to widen the scope of our praise by all of us coming together for the purpose,” she stated.

A former Commissioner for Information, Youth and Sports Development, Mr Lanre Ogunsuyi, while speaking on the 2018 praise concert with the theme: “Glorifying God”, noted that the praise and thanksgiving was “a veritable way of redirecting the thoughts of people, especially the youth towards God.”

Traditional rulers, including the Oore of Mobaland, Oba Adedapo Popoola; the Alaworoko of Iworoko, Oba M.O. Aladejana, top government functionaries and several dignitaries joined the hosts, Moyosola and Funmilola Aina in the show of appreciation to God.

Also at the event were solo saxophonists, choirs from within and outside Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital and other performers.
