Power output records 15.6% increase in 24hrs

POWER output in Nigeria has improved slightly by 15.6 per cent in the last 24-hours.
Investigation by the Tribune Online on Monday revealed that power generation improved from 2718.6MW on Sunday

to 3142.4MW on Monday at 14:00 hours.
According to industry sources, as at 06:00 hours on Monday, power generation has risen to 3053.9MW. Peak generation ever attained in the history of Nigeria was 5074.7MW while network operational capacity remains 5500MW.
Current transmission capability is 7000MW, while national peak demand forecast is 17,720MW. Installed capacity remains 11165.4MW.
